- We will only use the best hand selected grass available at the correct length and thickness.
- We thatch to SABS thickness of 175mm
- Hand selected Large Diameter Poles are used for all our structures and all structural connections are bolted together with Galvanized threaded bar.
- All timber is SABS CCA treated and certificates can be provided if necessary
- SABS fire retardant certification can also be provided

Thatch Evolution is registered with the Thatcher's Association of South Africa and as a member they are required to build according to SABS standards so that a strict standard of Quality can be maintained throughout the Thatching industry.
